University track field. Download your per-registration flyer here.
February 16, 2019 ~ Greetings in Jesus name!
We are writing to invite your church to participate in a special project to support our
brothers and sisters in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Over the past year, thousands of
people from the Mennonite Brethren and Mennonite Churches in Congo have been
displaced due to violence. This project will provide emergency food and sanitation items to
830 internally displaced households affected by the conflict and food shortages. MCC is also
providing hygiene kits for 1,000 women and girls. Please read the attached flyer for more
The West Coast Mennonite Relief Sale selected this project for this year’s My Coins Count
Project. Between now and the Fresno Relief Sale (April 12 & 13) we encourage your church
to support the Congolese Church in various ways. First, educate your church, especially the
children, about the needs and regularly remember them in prayer. Two, encourage your
children to regularly bring their coins to support this project. Another flyer contains helpful
tips for promoting this project in your church. Third, seek out a matching donor in your
church that will match any funds raised from your church.
A generous donor pledged to match all funds raised at the Fresno Relief Sale up to $5,000! If
you find a match within your congregation, combined with the overall match, this will mean
that for every penny your children contribute, it will be multiplied 4X. Our hope is that these
matching funds will not only increase the impact of the project but also help foster
generosity in your congregation.

January 16, 2019 - Something new this year, WCMRS will be using QR Codes. Perhaps you are familiar with them, but if you’re not, here is a recap.
A QR code (quick response code) is a type of 2D bar code that is used to provide easy access to information through a smartphone. In this process, known as mobile tagging, the smartphone's owner points the phone at a QR code and opens a barcode reader app which works in conjunction with the phone's camera and is available for everyone. So when you are at the Sale this coming April, look for them and find out what they have to say.
QR scanner apps can be found at the App Store or a Google Play.
Here’s a YouTube video that will help explain how to use the qr code. [QR Codes] How to use QR Codes
January 14, 2019 - Have you ever been to any auction and the item you would like to bid on
and take home, was a desk just to big? This coming sale a professional
moving company will be helping us out. If your item is like big size desk,
they will help get it to your home, free of charge. Nice deal isn’t?

August 5, 2018 - The West Coast Mennonite Relief Sale Annual Meeting is coming up soon! It will take place on Sunday, September 9th at 4PM in the Reedley MB Church Social Hall. A light dinner will be served at no charge. All are encouraged to attend as there will be elections of officers and the opportunity to discuss various aspects of the West Coast Mennonite Relief Sale.
July 30, 2018 - The Board for the West Coast Mennonite Relief Sale announces a permanent change in the dates of the sale starting in 2019. The sale will be the second full weekend of April unless Easter falls on that date, if it does the sale would then be on the third weekend of April. So mark your calendars for the sale on April 12 and 13, 2019! See you then.
- Why change the date? There
have been several issues we have been having to cope with over the last
few years. Two large events happening every year going on in Fresno and
Clovis. The third event happens every 4 years when the National Youth
Conference of the MB Church happens. It
takes away our youth in the area as well as parents and board members
who are important to the Sale. We are hoping with these changes to
increase the crowd size and make the Sale more accessible to everyone.
July 30-Aug 3, 2018 - Take part in the West Coast MCC Bike Ride in Kellogg, Idaho.
June 18, 2018 - WCMRS launches new website. Take a look and enjoy our new site design.
